Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how LaVilla Holdings LLC, doing business as Christian Wedding Vendor ("CWV," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares information through christianweddingvendor.com (the "Site"). We do not sell your personal information.
1. Information we collect
From couples who send an inquiry: names, email, phone number, wedding date, guest count, your message, the page you came from, and filters you used. If you choose, a photo of yourselves and confirmation that you verified your phone number by text code.
From reviewers: your review, rating, and the inquiry it relates to.
From vendors: business name, contact details, category, city, service area, prices, photos, video links, description, website and social media links, sign-in email, billing status, and referral activity. Payment card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us. Vendors who receive referral payouts provide identity and bank details directly to Stripe.
Faith information (vendors only, optional): whether a vendor signed our faith affirmation, and any faith statement they write. See section 4.
From visitors: pages viewed, listings shown and clicked, approximate location from IP address, browser and device type. We record these on our own servers to give vendors accurate statistics.
From public sources, for vendor outreach: business names, public contact details, and public social media profile information of wedding businesses we may invite to list. We use this information only to contact those businesses about listing with CWV, and we stop contacting any business that asks us to.
2. How we use information
- To run the directory and deliver inquiries to vendors.
- To screen for spam, bots, and fraud.
- To show vendors their statistics, leads, and cost per lead.
- To send service emails: inquiry delivery, account and billing notices, trial and stats emails, price confirmation reminders, and review requests after a wedding date.
- To review vendor listings and faith statements before they are published.
- To bill vendors and pay referral commissions.
- To improve the Site, keep it secure, and comply with the law.
3. How we share information
- With the vendor you contact: everything in your inquiry, and your photo and Verified Couple badge if you choose to add them.
- Publicly: vendor listings, prices, photos, displayed reviews, and any faith statement a vendor chooses to make public. Reviews show the reviewer's first name and last initial.
- With service providers who process data for us under contract: Supabase (database and storage), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (bot checks and domains), Resend (email delivery), Twilio (phone verification), Stripe (billing and payouts), and Google (search and reviews).
- For legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, or the Site.
- In a business transfer: if CWV is reorganized, sold, or spun off into a separate company, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
4. Faith information
- Signing the faith affirmation and writing a faith statement are both optional. Vendors do not have to be Christian to list.
- A faith statement is private by default. Only CWV staff who review listings can read it. It appears on a vendor's public profile only if the vendor turns on "Show my faith statement on my profile," and the vendor can turn this off at any time.
- Notes we make while reviewing a statement are never shown to the vendor or the public.
- Religious beliefs are sensitive information. We collect them only with the vendor's consent, given at the Faith step of signup, and use them only to review and, if the vendor chooses, display their statement.
5. How long we keep information
- Inquiry photos: deleted automatically 12 months after upload.
- Inquiries: 3 years, so vendors can see their lead history.
- Vendor accounts: while the account is active. Paused or canceled listings are hidden but kept so the vendor can reactivate, until the vendor asks us to delete them.
- Billing records: as long as required for tax and accounting.
6. Cookies
We use cookies needed to keep you signed in and to run bot checks (Cloudflare Turnstile). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
7. Your choices and rights
- Email: every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Service emails about your inquiry, account, or billing are not optional while you use the Site.
- Access, correction, deletion: you can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing privacy@christianweddingvendor.com. Vendors can edit their listing and faith statement settings in their dashboard.
- State rights: depending on where you live, you may have additional rights. We will honor them as required by law and will not discriminate against you for using them.
8. Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, and database rules that keep private information, including lead details, billing data, and private faith statements, out of public pages. No system is perfectly secure.
9. Children
The Site is for adults planning weddings and wedding businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
10. Changes
We will post any update here with a new date, and give notice of material changes.
